Top Strategic Priority
Our key priority in the coming year is to continue to develop an integrated Talent Development Framework to enable the Library to address potential skills gaps, build career development and attract and retain talented staff.
We will start this work with the identification of Business Critical posts across the Library, together with a Directorate-based talent and career development process.
I joined the British Library in June 2003. Prior to this my career was developed in London local Government working for five diverse and politically different local authorities.
I have occupied a variety of senior management positions with senior responsibility for developing people strategies to facilitate organisational change.
