Dr Page has 30 years of strategy, change management and technology experience, with a particular focus on the boardroom issues of the digital age.
He was formerly the global Managing Director for Strategic IT Effectiveness at the management consultancy firm Accenture, helping large and complex businesses to deliver business value from digital investments, to transform business processes, and to strengthen operational performance. He also held the global role of Growth & Strategy Director for Accenture Technology Consulting, a $1.4bn business with 3,500 employees in 45 countries. He left Accenture in 2009 to embark on a non-executive career, in which he has helped steer capability and capacity growth in information-centered businesses. He is a Non-Executive Director of the National Crime Agency and BSI Group (British Standards Institution) and a senior advisor to PwC. Dr Page studied computer science and music (with an emphasis on historical musicology) at the University of Queensland, and holds a D.Phil from New College, Oxford where he was a Commonwealth Scholar and a member of the Programming Research Group. Dr Page is also a professional photographer specialising in children's portraiture.
Dr Page was appointed to the Board for his experience in digital matters including IT innovation and risk.
He is a member of the Board's Capital Projects Committee.
