Skills development within Collection Care
Skills development within Collection Care is being achieved by:
- Identifying the current and future skill requirements for Conservation and Preservation staff through conducting Skills Audits
- Ensuring that appropriate learning and development opportunities are available to meet the needs of the British Library
- Bringing about effective change through training plans based on the skills requirements of staff and the material in the collections
- Evaluating and reviewing training programmes in response to identified needs
