The Digital Preservation Team works collaboratively with the wider preservation and digital cultural heritage communities. We recognise the scale of the challenge faced, and the benefits in pooling resources with other experts and leading organisations in order to meet our business needs.

Current engagements

Digital Preservation Coalition

The DPC is a not-for-profit membership organisation founded in 2002 to help organisations preserve their digital memory. It enables members to deliver resilient long-term access to digital content and services, helping them to derive enduring value from digital collections and raising awareness of the attendant strategic, cultural and technological challenges they face. 

Open Preservation Foundation

The OPF is a membership organisation founded in 2010. It provides members with reliable solutions to the challenges of digital preservation through technology stewardship, knowledge exchange, and advocacy and alliances.

BitCurator Consortium

The Bitcurator Consortium is an independent membership association that provides a network of support for BitCurator users in exploring and applying forensics approaches and solutions to their digital collections.

UNESCO Persist

UNESCO Persist is a project under the UNESCO Memory of the World programme. Its aim is to ensure long-term access to the digital heritage by facilitating development of effective policies, sustainable technical approaches, and best preservation practices.
