The Digital Preservation Team works collaboratively with the wider preservation and digital cultural heritage communities. We recognise the scale of the challenge faced, and the benefits in pooling resources with other experts and leading organisations in order to meet our business needs.

National and international preservation projects
The Digital Preservation Team participates in collaborative projects to exchange knowledge and expertise with national and international key players in the field of digital preservation.
An EU co-funded project, which developed scalable services for planning and execution of institutional preservation strategies on an open source platform that orchestrated semi-automated workflows for large-scale, heterogeneous collections of complex digital objects.
A Network of Excellence co-funded by the EU, which brought together an extremely diverse set of practitioner organisations and researchers, exploiting the diversity by building a long-lived Virtual Centre of Excellence for Digital Preservation.
