Profitable in three months!

19/01/10

Lisa Irlam is the creator of the Pool-Mate, a gadget for swimmers and triathletes which counts laps, strokes, distance and more. Lisa and her husband researched the swimming market and developed their product using the Centre's vast market research collections

With endorsements from double Olympic medalist Nick Gillingham and Paralympic gold medalist Clare Cunningham, Pool-Mate has already earned its stripes.

Within three months of the September 2009 launch Pool-Mate had already paid back all the development costs that Lisa and her husband sank into their idea. The business is now returning a healthy profit and further developments of the product are in the pipeline.

On 27 January join She's Ingenious! to hear Lisa's tips for launching a product that hits the market spot on. There's great networking, too.

Date: 27 January 2010
Time: 11.00 - 13.00
Price: £20, or £10 for She's Ingenious! members
