On Monday 1 July 2013, the Britsih Library are running an event all about the art of persuasion and how to make an impression.
Some of the most creative, memorable and persuasive language and art of modern times has been devised in the service of selling.
What makes a brilliant advertising slogan, or the ultimate press communication? How do you generate attention for products, projects or people, or simply get other people to do the talking for you?
Advertising legend Trevor Beattie, whose campaigns brought us ‘Hello Boys’ and ‘fcuk’ joins 'PR guru' Mark Borkowski, author of Improperganda and The Fame Formula, for a revealing conversation on how to make an impact in the fast-moving worlds of media and business.
