Boris Johnson launches new 'business bootcamps' at the British Library

17/05/11

The Business & IP Centre welcomed Mayor of London, Boris Johnson to the launch of a new programme, ‘Business bootcamps’, on Friday 13 May 2011. The Mayor called on budding entrepreneurs to improve their chances of business success by signing up to a series of tailor-made ‘Business bootcamps’.

Supported by funding from RBS and the EU’s Interreg scheme, the programme provides intensive workshops led by industry specialists and business owners. The workshops provide entrepreneurs with the opportunity to develop the key skills needed to build and grow a successful business.

The Business & IP Centre will be participating by holding a two-day bootcamp, ‘The professionals: a business bootcamp’ on 13 and 14 June. The bootcamp is designed specifically for sole traders in the professional services. With all the tools needed to grow your business, this is an intense and effective way to spend your time to ensure success.
