Test your business idea and get feedback from your potential customers.
Marketest, online quantitative market research experts for entrepreneurs have organised its third business start-up competition.
The recent economic crisis has indicated that traditional business methods are failing across Britain. Increasingly, the UK is looking towards the startups and SMEs to kickstart economic growth and increase employment.
With this in mind Marketest are running the Business Start-Up Competition, which gives pre-startups and startups the opportunity to take their business ideas to the next level. With the competition in its third year, this year’s competition promises to be better than before.
The Business Start-Up Competition aims to support individuals over the age of 18 who have the ability to come up with a new business or social enterprise idea that has real market potential, as well as;
- Stimulate and promote entrepreneurial initiative in the UK
- Bring out new business ideas
- Support the transition from the idea to the launching stage
- Promote and reward start-up projects
Recent research statistics showed that nine out of ten start-up businesses fail within the first five years of trading due to a lack of planning and market research. Marketest understand the importance of reducing this figure, which is why they are offering the following prize;
All participants:
A 15% discount rate on tailored market research for a period of 12 months
A 50% discount on every market research report bought for/by the entrepreneurs that you support
The winner:
Expertly tailored and personal market research report for your business plan worth:
1st prize: market research project worth £1,000
2nd prize: market research project worth £500
The valuable market research prize will help transform a vision into a venture in a fun and creative way.
The deadline for submitting your innovative business idea is 12 May 2013.
