Global Entrepreneurship Week: Day 1

Today we launch Global Entrepreneurship Week here at the Library; a celebration of entrepreneurship around the world. Each day has a theme; today is 'Business basics, the essentials that you must crack when starting or growing a business.

The big launch

Enterprise UK is launching the week in our Conference Centre, with a panel of business leaders, entrepreneurs and politicians, all discussing the topic of 'Driving recovery, seizing opportunity'. You can watch the whole event online with a live webcast. Alibaba will be holding a bustling entrepreneurs market on our Piazza, brimming with new businesses.

9.30 - 14.00, in the Conference Centre and Piazza

Workshops on the 'business basics'

Meanwhile, in the Centre we'll be holding a day of workshops, themed around 'buisness basics'. Many of our workshops are fully booked, but come along to the Centre to meet our staff, network with other entrepreneurs and find out more about our services.
