20/03/13
Your business can make a real difference by giving a young person an amazing opportunity to taking the first steps towards building a successful career.
Camden Council have launched an exciting campaign working with employers in the London Borough of Camden to generate 100 pledges to take on an apprentice in 100 days.
Pledge your businesses support and benefit by hiring an apprentice with qualifications to strengthen the skills gap in your business.
What are the benefits?
- A more motivated and satisfied workforce
- Free recruitment and selection support
- Free on-going support to you and your apprentice
- Positive endorsement of your pledge in the marketing campaign
- A £1,500 grant for businesses with fewer than 1,000 employees when they take on their first apprentice.
How to get involved?
A campaign representative will meet with you to discuss your recruitment needs and time-scales. An apprentice will be in your business for a minimum 12 months period, working 30 hours per week, to ensure that your business benefits from having an apprentice.
