Cherie Blair, women in business
09/02/12

Women are making their entrepreneurial stamp on a global level, according to Cherie Blair who says we are living in the “decade for women in business.”
Cherie wants to use her experiences of working across many professional disciplines to encourage others. She explains that women must seize their chance because; “in the face of the global economic crisis, businesses are forced to take notice of the value of the other half of the population.”
A longstanding leading lawyer and co-founder of Matrix Chambers, Cherie has also set up her own charity to help women grow businesses in developing countries. She sits on the board of several non profit organisations that include Barnados and is a patron of charities such as Breast Cancer Care.
Cherie is one of many high profile key speakers at Business 2012 which runs from 18th-20th March at The O2.
