On 16 March, the Business & IP Centre will be hosting a special evening of talks and networking with inspirational female entrepreneurs, in celebration of International Women’s Month.
‘Mothers of Invention’ will bring together four women who have founded and led successful businesses, winning awards and accolades along the way.
Speakers

Sian Sutherland co-founded Mama Mio skincare five years ago. Mama Mio is now distributed in 2,500 stores and five spas in eight different countries.
Sara Murray is an entrepreneur and businesswoman who founded the price comparison website confused.com and developed 'buddi', a GPS tracking device for vulnerable people.
Vanessa Heywood created Tiny Mites Music in 2004 to provide music and drama classes for pre-school children.
Shazia Awan is the founder and Director of Peachy Pink, a ladies shaping and anti cellulite underwear brand that launched in Debenhams in 2009 and is now also stocked in House of Fraser.
The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel and network with them afterwards.
