Clarity

“Unless you are clear how can anything else be?"

Whether you’re in a job, desperate to be your own boss or you’ve been in business for years and are looking to grow in sales and staff, clarity is the key. It is the first and fundamental principle.

Interestingly, the most common things people say that they want at my Your life, your business workshop is focus, motivation, strategy, confidence and clarity - all these spring from being clear about who you are and what you want from life then playing to your strengths, passion and purpose.

Take some time to answer these questions to help you become clear about where you are and how to move ahead.

  1. Who are you? And what are you really passionate about?
  2. What do you want to achieve in life and business – and why are you in business?
  3. What are your circumstances now personally and professionally?
  4. How much money do you need to make?
  5. What tools, resources and support do you currently have and do you additionally need to grow your business – and where are the gaps in your knowledge?
  6. Who in your network can help you and what additional expertise do you need to seek?
  7. What are your businesses strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats?

Focus

The more you apply yourself to the questions, the greater your commitment to yourself and your business growth. Give yourself credit for all you’ve already achieved. All this will help you become clear and focused on your mission, vision and purpose.

Staying clear

It is one thing being clear but it is another thing to stay clear. Take time out to regularly review your business, for yourself and your loved ones. Set aside time for business development and focus on the tasks that will achieve your key goals. These things will help you to keep on track and motivated.
