Anthony Lau’s success story continues

24/04/13

British Library Business & IP Centre success story and Innovating for Growth Club Member, Anthony Lau.

Anthony has just made the exciting announcement, that his business, Cyclehoop, have installed 97 bike lockers on housing estates across Southwark.

Most housing estates have a high density population and no available driveway or garage space to store bicycles.

The increasing need for bike storage forces residents to store bicycles in hallways and walkways, which has been identified as a health and safety issue as it blocks fire escapes.

In response, Southwark council has provided residents with secure cycle parking. The bike lockers will be fully managed by Cyclehoop, residents will be able to rent a space in one of the lockers for a small annual fee, using their online portal.

The space efficient vertical bike lockers are conveniently installed next to each other, creating maximum cycle storage capacity without taking up valuable space. The bike lockers feature a newly designed hook for storing bicycles.

The service takes the hassle out of maintaining lockers for local authorities. Visit their website for further information about the vertical lockers or bike lockers.

Anthony is one of many successful Innovating for Growth members who have benefited from £10,000 worth of funded bespoke advice and support. If you are an exciting and ambitious London-based business, Find out more and apply now.
