GROW
Thursday 1 July, 17.00 - 20.30

How will growth affect you?

Some thoughts on developing your business, from Rasheed Ogunlaru, our life and business coach.

Captain on the bridge

To grow your business you need to spend more time developing it. Ensure that you spend at least 25% of time on business development and marketing. This may require a change of mindset; see yourself as the captain of the ship rather than just the one who is sailing it.

Raising the bar

To grow you'll probably need to raise your game:

  • Perhaps it's time to set more  ambitious/ specific sales, marketing and financial targets what's working well in your business - and how can you build on it?
  • Track precisely where your customers are coming from - this will sharpen your marketing
  • Study what's going your field/competitors; what can you improve / introduce as a result?

Personal, product & business development

To grow our business we need to develop our skills and ourselves. Invest in personal, business and professional development for you and your team. Ask your customers what else they need; perhaps you could extend your services and products or work alongside with others who can supply it.
