Our success stories are winning awards

30/11/10

We’ve welcomed over 200,000 visitors to the Business and IP Centre since we launched in 2006.  Our success story programme highlights some of our customers' businesses and how they've benefited from using the Library.

Recently our success stories have been winning lots of awards:

  • Lisa Irlam, inventor of the Pool-Mate, a training watch for swimmers, is one of three finalists in the 2010 NatWest Everywoman Awards.

  • Simon Corbett, founder of JargonPR, recently won ‘Outstanding Small Agency of the Year’ at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations annual awards and received a Silver award for Campaign of the Year.

  • Lotwina Farodye, who launched ‘Be fruity', a range of natural fruit bars, recently won the prestigious IGD Food Industry Awards: Danone Leading Edge, Leading Light Award.
