Jim Shaikh - our success story
Jim Shaikh is an engineer-turned-entrepreneur. He has created Yoomi, a self-warming baby bottle which makes life easier for parents on-the-go.
Jim used the Business & IP Centre's market research collections to investigate the feeding bottle and baby product markets, helping him to develop his business plan.
The Centre's intellectual property workshops were also useful, providing a background to intellectual property and the different ways an idea can be protected.
Yoomi is currently at the manufacturing stage and is due to be launched with a major retailer in late 2009.
