James is at the forefront of innovation in what has traditionally been a very conservative marketplace.
As a landlord himself of 13 years' experience, he knows what it is like to be at the coalface of renting. Before founding Upad, James was Sales Director for First Radio Sales, and undertook a successful floatation of AIM-listed Campus Media.
James found the Centre's various market research reports invaluable when trying to set up Upad. He also took advantage of the workshops and information on intellectual property to ensure his venture is sufficiently protected.
