Guy Jeremiah - our success story

Guy Jeremiah used his background as an environmental businessman to launch Aquatina Ltd in 2008. Following two years of product design and development, he began selling the Aquatina collapsible water bottle in 2010. The bottle offers an environmentally-friendly and economical alternative to buying bottled water and is already stocked in Howies, Blacks and Millets.
Despite a negative experience in Dragons' Den, sales surged to 36,000 units by the first quarter of 2011 and Aquatina Ltd had a turnover of £65,000 for the preceding six months. With exports confirmed to Holland, Japan, Hungary, France, Sweden and Canada, 2011 is shaping up to be another successful year.
Guy used the Business & IP Centre extensively when developing the design for the bottle. He undertook patent searches in the Centre and found that his design included unique features, which he could legally protect. Now that Guy is looking to expand the product range, he is using the Centre again to carry out research into unique additions that can be made to the current model.
