Lotwina Farodoye - our success story

Lotwina Farodoye

After being made redundant in 2009, Lotwina Farodoye set up Castus Ltd to produce and distribute Be Fruity bars. The bars offer a healthy and natural alternative to the usual snack bars available to consumers.

Lotwina used the Business & IP Centre to research the snack and health food markets, ensuring that there was a gap in the market for her product. She has also attended courses on intellectual property and trademarks and plans to take advantage of our marketing courses to find out more about how social marketing could take her brand forward.

Currently, Lotwina's Be Fruity bars are available in Waitrose and Holland and Barratt, as well as a number of independent retailers.
