During this special one-off evening event Atul will share how he has been able to grow his business, from establishing his first McDonald’s restaurant in 2003, to operating a twenty-strong and growing McDonald’s restaurant group across North and North West London; all through McDonald’s franchising model. Using his own experiences, Atul will cover the key aspects that every budding franchisee should consider when buying into any franchise business.
The event will also be a useful refresher for established franchisees.
Key areas to be discussed include:
- The ingredients of a solid business plan
- Why a good business plan is essential for securing funding
- Measuring performance and planning your future growth
- Performance expectations of the franchisor
- Running a socially responsible franchise business
- The importance of customer research and understanding your market
- Franchisor supported marketing
- Building a team that believes in your ethos, enabling you to expand your franchise business
There will also be time for you to put your own questions to Atul as well as an informal networking reception afterwards.
- Franchising is a huge industry, as shown in the 2012 NatWest/bfa Franchise Survey:
- Industry annual turnover: £13.4 billion
- Number of franchisor brands operating in the UK: 929
- Number of franchisee outlets: 40,100
