Webinar: Guide to intellectual property

Please note that this is an online event

An understanding of intellectual property and its protection is vital for anyone with an idea, whether it’s an invention, a brand name or a song.

This session will introduce the four areas of intellectual property and help you understand which may apply to you and your business:

  • Patents
  • Trade marks
  • Registered designs
  • Copyright

As well as covering the different types of intellectual property this workshop will demonstrate how to search for patents, trade marks and registered designs using a sample of the databases freely available via the Internet.
