Services
We provide a range of services to people working with library and archive collections and to members of the public. These include print and web-based information, an enquiry service by telephone, letter or email, events and training, and the following preservation management services.
Preservation Assessment Surveys
The Preservation Assessment Survey allows you to quickly gather information on the state of preservation of your organisation’s collections. The survey helps you identify strengths and weaknesses in your preservation practices so that you can better prioritise actions to ensure the long-term accessibility of your collections. Our customised report also provides you with the necessary evidence to support funding applications, as a planning tool and to support collection management activities.
Preservation Health Checks
The Preservation Health Check helps prioritise the collection care needs of your institution. Consisting of a site visit and follow-up report, it provides an overview of current practice and identifies simple steps for improving the long-term care of collections.
