Notes Macchi states; Bound last quarter of the 16th century or beginning of the 17th century. Lucrecia? panel stamp. The "S" shaped decorated border is generally typical of the last quarter of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century. As panel stamps can last about two centuries, it is not unfrequent to notice German Renaissance bindings at the same time provided with first half century panel stamps (e.g. Lucrecia? for this binding) and motifs from the last quarter of the 16th to the beginning of the 17th centuries.
