||Pre-1600. Brown leather over wood boards, blind-stamped with interlace strapwork designs, with four bees/flies in the middle panel of each cover; c.1477. Traces of centre-pieces, corner-pieces, and clasps, all missing. Inscribed on tail edge. Gold lettering added to upper cover later.
