The Proprietors of Matchless Cleanser and Venus Soap have decided to give the public a free ticket to Brighton and back (same day) from London, on any Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, in June, July, or August, 1894, (Except Bank Holiday, 6th August, 1894), To get the Ticket each person is required to save 90 Venus and Matchless wrappers combined, and take or send them to Messrs. Joseph Watson & Sons' Office at 30, Snow Hill, Farringdon Street, London, E.C., where they will get a One Day Ticket to Brighton and back, given in return for them. On Saturdays and Mondays the Trains will leave London Bridge at 8.30 a.m., and Victoria at 8.25 a.m., and certain Stations up to Croydon, which will be mentioned on Railway Tickets, returning from Brighton, same day only, at 7.10 p.m. On Sundays the Trains will leave London Bridge and Victoria at 8.40 a.m., returning from Brighton, same day only, for London Bridge at 7.0 and for Victoria at 7.10 p.m. Giving the holders of the Tickets nearly 9 hours to see all the sights of Brighton… |
