Description: Decorated initial 'S' and a circular map of the world, divided in half horizontally, with the lower half in two quarters, creating a 'T' shape. At the centre, here written across the middle, is 'Jerusalem'. Above is 'Asia' (labelled at the very top), in the lower right is 'Affrica', and to its left 'Europa'. A number of place-names are also marked: in a small circle in Europe is Italy ('Italia'), next to this in a rectangle 'Roma'. At the extreme left-hand side, partly protruding outside the circles, are Britain ('Britannia'), Ireland ('Hibernia'), and the island 'Thile'.
Origin: England, N. (Peterborough)
