Description: Initial 'O'(ceanum) decorated with a winged mask, swags and gemstones, at the beginning of book XI of Virgil's Aeneid, with a miniature of the funeral procession of the young warrior Pallas, and Aeneas placing the trophy of the armour of Mezentius on a tree, to the right, with a full border of all'antica decoration including swans, swags and strings of gems, and square capitals in a four-colour sequence.
