Description: Roundel of St Bartholomew (the patron saint of Crowland) giving a scourge to St Guthlac so he can drive away the demons who have carried him to the gates of hell, with the inscriptions 'S[an]c[tu]s Bartholom[eus] fert flagru[m] Guthlaco' and 'Demones fer[un]t Guthl[acum] ad portas infer[n]i', and inscriptions labelling the saint and 'Infern[us]' (Hell).. 
Origin: England (possibly Crowland)
