A foliate border in monochrome of trompe l'oeil gems and cameos, two Medici devices of an eagle perched on a diamond ring with three feathers and motto 'Semper', and the motto 'Candor Illesus' inscribed on a banner curling round a tree and a trunk supporting a crystal ball through which pass sun rays, one of which hits the tree causing it to burst into flames and the other strikes the banner but has no effect, measuring 280 x 30 mm. |
