Date 3rd quarter of the 16th century
Artists An artist in the circle of Giulio Clovio (Juraj Klovic) (b. Grizane, Croatia 1498, d. Rome, 3 January 1578) and Apollonio de' Bonfratelli (b. ? Capranica, d. Rome, 1575).
Decoration 1 miniature in colours and gold, of the Adoration of the Shepherds with the Holy Family and the shepherds in a stable, with three putti bearing a scroll inscribed 'Gloria in excelsis deo et in terra pax hominibus' above and the Annunciation to the Shepherds in the background, within a decorative gilded architectural border of putti, caryatids and faces.
