Smaller and small initials in gold with blue pen-flourishing or in blue with red pen-flourishing (with decorated extensions in red and blue).
Dimensions in mm 195 x 135 (125 x 90) in two columns
Official foliation ff. 108 (+ 4 paper flyleaves at the beginning, and 5 at the end)

Binding BM/BL in-house. Rebound in 1972.
Provenance Colophon ' par mestre Jehan de Meun. En lan de lincarnation nostre seigneur Mil iic iiiixx et quatre' (f. 108).
Sir Hans Sloane (b. 1660, d. 1753), baronet, physician and collector.
Purchased as part of the Sloane collection from Sloane's executors and incorporated into the newly founded British Museum in 1753.
