Provenance Inscriptions, 15th century (f. 220v).
Inscription, 16th century: 'Charles Danvers is my name' (f. 7v).
James West (b. 1703, d. 1772), politician and antiquary: note by Dr. Ducarel, who examined the manuscript in his library in 1763 (f. 1).
Inscribed 'LLe No. 104' (f. 2).
William Petty (formerly Fitzmaurice) (b. 1737, d. 1805), 2nd earl of Shelburne and 1st marquess of Lansdowne, prime minister; purchased by the British Museum together with 1244 other Lansdowne manuscripts in 1807.
