Changes to the Iosm website.
As part of our program of developing the special catalogue websites, there have been some changes to the databases within the Iosm website.
The Prints & Drawings database has been enhanced - see Search tips P&D for more details. One effect of this change is that the All Images search cannot now cover both the old-style Photographs database and the new-style P&D database and so the All Images search facility cannot be updated.
To summarise:

The Prints & Drawings search form connects to the new style P&D database, which is updated regularly.

The All Images search form with type of material set to 'Both' searches the old-style Prints & Drawings and Photographs databases. These Prints & Drawings records will not be edited and so the search results exclude Prints & Drawings catalogued after May 2006.

The All Images search form with Prints & Drawings selected as type of material will not be updated.

The 'See also Prints, Drawings & Photographs' link in the Private Papers catalogue links to the old-style Prints & Drawings and Photographs data.
The catalogues to the India Office Private Papers that were searchable from this site are now available on the Search our Catalogues: Archive and Manuscripts service in a more detailed form. They are also more current and will be updated more regularly from now on.
