The copyright copy has been drastically rebound, losing the date stamp. - The letterpress descriptions of the plates are pasted on the versos of the leaves on which the preceding plates are mounted and irregularly paginated 21, 25, 33, 37, 29 (misbound), 41, 45, 59, 63, 55 (misbound), 67, 71. - Two panoramic groups of plates (I-III and X-XII) each consist of four sheets.;
The OIOC copy (Photo 983) has the letterpress pages in numerical order, followed by the mounted plates, but lacks plates IX and XIV, while plate XIII is differently cropped. It is extra-illustrated with 29 additional photographs (listed below), making a total of 45 photographs. |
