'After Nish' in Prokuplje, photograph of an Albanian checkpoint



This photograph, by Russian war photographer and artist Samson Tchernof, shows one of the checkpoints the Serbian army passed through on its retreat towards the Albanian coast. The checkpoint is in the town of Prokuplje, and the photograph shows an army supply unit in the main square as well as soldiers and civilians.
