The gift of refugees



After the Battle of Caporetto on 24 October 1917, Veneto and Friuli were invaded by Austro-German troops. In this publication, many artists from the invaded regions present their work and the book also includes photographs of the areas.


Dopo la battaglia di Caporetto (24 ottobre 1917) il Veneto e il Friuli vennero invasi dale truppe austro-tedesche. I profughi di quelle zone rifugiatisi in Italia ricordano i monumenti delle regioni invase. In questo periodico molti artisti dei territori occupati presentano le loro opere.
