How the Door of Peace was Opened
In this poster the Italian Eighth Army celebrate breaking through the enemy front and their occupation of the city of Vittorio Veneto, Italy on 30 October 1918. The illustrator, Alberto Cecconi, fought in the Eighth Army and presumably took part in this event.
