Italian Fate: popular anthems for singing and piano

Description

This volume contains patriotic songs with clear references to the Italian Risorgimento, the period of Italian history between 1815 and 1870 during which various states came together to achieve national unity. The patriotic anthems state, using rhetorical, persuasive language, that the city of Trento and the Venezia Giulia region will soon be Italian, finally free from Austrian domination. The cover shows an Italian alpino or mountain soldier, who raises the Italian flag on a mountaintop.
