A field kitchen at over 6000 feet
This photograph shows an Italian field kitchen, created to provide hot meals for soldiers even in a mountainous area. The picture belongs to the photographic department of the Supreme Command of the Royal Italian Army, from an album entitled The War, in which the more ‘glorious’ memories of the war were illustrated.

Facevano parte dei grandi album "La Guerra" nei quali venivano documentati più "gloriosi" ricordi della guerra, come paesaggi, scene, armi, ecc. In questa foto una cucina da campo per distribuire pasti caldi anche in alta montagna.
