This is the third edition of this autobiographical work by the writer Scipio Slataper (1888-1915). The first edition was in 1912. Slataper, who was born in Trieste, died as an Italian soldier. In this work he describes his love for his town and the surrounding region the Carso, as well as the double identity of his family and the region: Slavic and Italian.
Questa è la terza edizione (la prima fu nel 1912) dell’opera autobiografica dell’autore. Scipio Slataper, nato a Trieste, morì combattendo per l’Italia (1888-1915). In quest’opera descrive l’amore per la sua città e per la regione circostante (il Carso) e mostra di comprendere la doppia identità (slava e italiana) della sua famiglia e della sua regione.
