Italian satirical newspaper 'The 420'



This is an anti-clerical and pro-war satirical newspaper, which shares its name with a famous mortar 420-bore. The issues from December 1914 to October 1915 are important because they reveal political discussions in Italy on the eve of the declaration of war.
