Poster 'Union is strength'

The poster was created by the illustrator A Vassallo, but the iconography is also present in the work of other artists. It’s interesting because it belongs to a period of the war, in 1917, after Russia had signed a separate peace agreement with the Central Powers, but before America had intervened on the side of the Entente. For this reason, only the three flags of the UK, Italy and France represent the Allied forces.
