This is a copy of a de luxe issue of these humorous monologues, bound in leather. Leighton provided an inventive design, whose chief feature, apart from the elaborate blocking on the borders of the covers, is the four-poster bedstead, with heavy drapes framing the title blocked in gold. The use of blocking in relief to highlight the bedposts and other decorative features is particularly successful.
