1801-4 Introduction of Fourdrinier paper making machine.

Introduction of Earl Stanhope's iron hand press, followed by the Columbian (1817) and Albion (ca. 1822), capable of printing larger settings (formes) of type more efficiently, at a speed of about 200 sheets per hour
