Brinkman's Cumulative Catalogue Brinkman's Cumulative Catalogue (BCC) is the Dutch national bibliography, compiled by the National Library of the Netherlands (KB). It contains commercially available print books (A-list), grey literature (B-list) and other material (C-list). The online edition started in 2001. Online resource
British National Bibliography (BNB) Contains the catalogue records of books and serials deposited by publishers in the UK and Ireland under the requirements of the Copyright Act 1911 from 1950 onwards.
Croatian National Bibliography The catalogues of the National and University Library of Croatia list books, serials, articles from journals and newspapers.
Czech National Bibliography Used to search for: books (from 1900 to the present time), periodicals, maps, musical scores, audio and electronic materials (from 1990 onwards) published on the territory of the Czech Republic.
Fennica (Finnish National Bibliography) FENNICA contains references to monographs, serials, maps, non-book material and computer records published or in other way produced in Finland. It also includes publications published outside Finland but with a Finnish author or related to Finland.
French Bibliography 15th Century - Lists over 1.7 million items from the collections of over 200 leading North American libraries. The bibliography includes titles in French from classical and modern literature, scholarly publications, conference proceedings, legal publications, reference books, and periodicals.
German National Bibliography The on-line catalogue of the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek contains records for all books listed since 1945 in the "Deutsche Nationalbibliographie" and thus serves as a German national bibliography for that period.
Hungarian National Bibliography Contains records of all publications received at National Szechenyi Library.

Italian Bibliography 15th Century - Lists over 600,000 items in Italian from the collections of over 200 leading North American libraries. The bibliography includes titles from classical and modern literature, scholarly publications, conference proceedings, legal publications, reference books, and periodicals.

Polish National Bibliography Produced by the National Library of Poland, and covering the years 1982-1997, this CD-ROM lists monographs, serials, periodicals. It allows English and Polish language searching. It has a number of searchable indexes including author, subject, keyword, title, ISBN and ISSN.
Slovenian Bibliography Used to check bibliographical details of Slovenian monographs published between 1989 and 1994: includes seminar and congress proceedings, fesschrifts, radio plays (published by Radio Slovenia), and doctoral theses.
Spanish Bibliography 15th Century - Lists over 1 million items in Spanish from the collections of over 200 leading North American libraries. The bibliography includes titles from classical and modern literature, scholarly publications, conference proceedings, legal publications, reference books and periodicals.

New Zealand and Polynesian records in the USPG archive Records from the 19th and 20th century, showing the activities of the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel, and the development of the diocesan structure in New Zealand.
Papers Past (The National Library of New Zealand) Papers Past contains more than one million pages of digitised New Zealand newspapers and periodicals. The collection covers the years 1840 to 1915 and includes publications from all regions of New Zealand.

Dance in Video, Vols. I and II Dance in Video, Vols. I and II, contains 741 dance productions and documentaries featuring some of the most influential performers and companies of the twentieth century. Selections cover ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, experimental, and improvisational dance, as well as forerunners of the forms and the pioneers of modern concert dance. This service includes 922 videos, equalling 657 hours.

Early Russian Cinema Unique collection of Russian film periodicals published during the last decade of the Tsarist regime. The collection includes sophisticated, bi-monthly periodicals as well as more popular weeklies released by the major Russian film studios. Containing, amongst others, interviews with movie stars and screenplays that are now irretrievably lost, these journals are an invaluable source of information for researchers interested in the silent movie era and Russia's entertainment industry at the eve of the Revolution. Published by IDC as part of the series Mass Culture and Entertainment in Russia.

International Film Archive Contains several databases including the International Index to Film Periodicals and the International Index to Television Periodicals. Coverage from 1972 onwards.
International Film Index International in scope. Searchable fields include: title, year of release, director's name, actor's name, film type. Period covered: 1894-1996.
International Index to the Performing Arts Indexes more than 250 international performing arts periodicals. Start dates vary; includes retrospective citations dating back as far as 1864. Also indexes a variety of documents such as biographical profiles, conference papers, obituaries, interviews, discographies, reviews and events.

Mass Culture and Entertainment in Russia This series comprises collections of rare, and often unique, materials that offer an insight into the dynamics of cultural and daily life in imperial and Soviet Russia. The series is organized along six thematic lines that together cover the full spectrum of nineteenth- and twentieth-century Russian culture, ranging from the penny press and high-brow art journals in pre-Revolutionary Russia, to children's magazines and publications on constructivist design in the early Soviet Union. Oxford Reference Online (Premium Collection) Over 100 specialist and general reference dictionaries covering a wide range of subjects from social sciences, business, sciences, language, the arts, and history. Includes the Oxford dictionary of dance and the Concise Oxford companion to the theatre.
Screen and Stage A collection of rare Russian theatre and film periodicals, which also includes material on other forms of entertainment and mass culture in pre-Revolutionary Russia. The collection consists of various types of material ranging from sophisticated journals to cheaply produced magazines published in the last three decades of the Tsarist regime. Theatre in Video Contains more than 100 definitive performances of the world's leading plays, and more than 60 film documentaries, online in streaming video (250 hours+). This release contains 162 titles, representing many leading playwrights, actors and directors.

Victorian Popular Culture: Music Hall, Theatre and Popular Entertainment Consists of a wide range of primary source material dating from the 18th century to the 1930's. Features material on music halls, theatre (legitimate and illegitimate), pantomime, pleasure gardens, scientific institutions and visual delights such as magic lanterns shows and dioramas.
NB: The Library only has access to the Music Hall, Theatre and Popular Entertainment module of this resource.

Provides full text of articles from a wide range of US national, regional and local papers, and also key international newspapers and transcripts of broadcast news and newswires. This database excludes paid advertisements and photographs. The product has a source list giving full details of all of the titles included and the date ranges covered.
ANNO - Austrian Newspapers Online Anno from the Austrian National Library allows you to browse through digital facsimiles of around 500 Austrian newspapers and magazines from 16th Century to the 1940s. For the period 1704-1872, there is full-text searching available in their Beta system.

Book Review Digest Plus A bibliographic database that cites and provides excerpts of reviews of current English-language fiction and non-fiction books for children and adults. An abstract of each book is also provided. Periodical coverage includes leading magazines from the United States, Canada and Great Britain. Period covered: 1983 to date.

Chronicling America: Historic American Newspapers This site from the Library of Congress allows you to search and view American newspaper pages from 1860-1922 and find information about American newspapers published between 1690 and the present.
Daily Express 20th Century Archive 1900-2000 Part of UKpressonline, the archive of the popular UK national newspaper, the Daily Express, is now under construction. Around 180,000 pages covering selected dates between 1900 and 1982 are currently available. When complete the archive will provide full coverage of the Daily Express from 1900 to 2000.

FRANCIS Indexes multilingual, multidisciplinary information published in over 4,200 journals covering the humanities (67%), social sciences (30%), and economics (3%). The Daily Express 20th Century Archive is now under construction and around 180,000 pages covering selected dates between 1900 and 1982 are also currently available.

The database can be searched by keyword, contributor, pseudonym or periodical title. Links are provided to the full text of articles for selected titles in Periodicals Archive Online and the British Periodicals Collection. Additions to and corrections of the Wellesley Index can be found in the Curran Index.
Welsh Newspapers Online (Beta) Welsh Newspapers Online Beta is a free online resource from the National Library of Wales which currently lets you search and access over 250,000 pages from 24 newspaper publications from years 1844 to 1910. It will grow to over 1 million pages as more publications are added during 2013.

ZETOC (British Library Electronic Table of Contents) This database contains details of approximately 20,000 current journals and 16,000 conference proceedings published per year, covering humanities, science, technology, medicine, engineering, business, law, and finance.
