Reaxys	Web-based chemistry database that offers extensive coverage of organic, inorganic and organometallic chemistry information. Based on the combined content of CrossFire Beilstein, CrossFire Gmelin and the Patent Chemistry Databases. This resource is only available in British Library Reading Rooms.
Risk Abstracts 1990 to present	Provides a comprehensive source for interdisciplinary perspectives in this evolving field. Published in association with the Institute for Risk Research at the University of Waterloo, Risk Abstracts encompasses risk arising from industrial, technological, environmental, and other sources, with an emphasis on assessment and management of risk. The journal includes occasional articles on topics of significant interest. The broad, multidisciplinary coverage of risk-related concerns ranges from public and environmental health to social issues and psychological aspects. SCOPUS 1966 to the present	Broad based coverage of scientific, technical, medical and social sciences literature drawn from over 14,000 peer-reviewed journals. Subject areas include Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Life and Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Psychology, Economics, General Science, Biological, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. The Scotsman 1817 - 1950	Offers full facsimile page and article images with word searchable text back to the first issue of The Scotsman (1817-1950). Part of Pro Quest Historical Newspapers. This resource is only available in British Library Reading Rooms.
Social Policy and Practice	This is a bibliographic database covering social policy, social care, public health, housing, homelessness, community development and regeneration, crime, law and order, children, families and older people. Material is mainly from the UK with some references from the USA and Europe. The database is oriented towards applied research, policy and practice and so complements theoretical sources. References are from 1890 to date, with the majority being from the 1980s onwards. This resource is only available in British Library Reading Rooms.
Sociological Abstracts 1963 to present	Contains information from approximately 2500 journals in 30 different languages from about 55 countries. It covers sociology and related disciplines by including bibliographic citations and abstracts and enhanced dissertation citations from Dissertation Abstracts International. This resource is only available in British Library Reading Rooms.

NEW: Access over 2,000 scientific e-books from Springer's Biomedical and Life Sciences and Earth and Environmental Sciences collections via SpringerLink. Times Digital Archive	A digital edition of The Times, covering 1785-1985. This resource is only available in British Library Reading Rooms.
The Times of India 1838 - 2003	Offers full facsimile page and article images with word searchable text back to the first issue of The Times of India (1838-2003) Part of ProQuest Historical Newspapers. This resource is only available in British Library Reading Rooms.
Times Index 1906-1980	Over 12 million records for articles published in The Times, The Sunday Times, as well as many supplements. 1906-80. This resource is only available in British Library Reading Rooms.
Times Literary Supplement Historical Archive 1902-2006>	Provides access to every page of every copy of the Times Literary Supplement published from 1902 to 2006. This resource is only available in British Library Reading Rooms.

Vogue Archive	Entire run of Vogue magazine (US edition) from 1892 to the present day, including all text, graphics, ads, covers and fold-outs, indexed and in colour. Contents represent the work of designers, photographers, stylists and illustrators of the 20th and 21st centuries and are a primary source for the study of fashion, gender and modern social history. This resource is only available in British Library Reading Rooms.
Web of Knowledge (incorporating Web of Science and Web Citation Index)	EncomPasses both multidisciplinary and specialized content, covering journals, books, proceedings, patents, chemical structures, evaluated Web content, grant funding, and preprints. Webster's Third New International Dictionary	1993 edition of Webster's dictionary of the English language, containing over 450,000 vocabulary entries. This resource is only available in British Library Reading Rooms.
Wellesley Index to Victorian Periodicals 1824-1900	An electronic index to the contents of 45 British periodicals, many of which are not indexed elsewhere. The database can be searched by keyword, contributor, pseudonym or periodical title. Links are provided to the full text of articles for selected titles in Periodicals Archive Online and the British Periodicals Collection. Additions to and corrections of the Wellesley Index can be found in the Curran Index. This resource is only available in British Library Reading Rooms.
Welsh Newspapers Online (Beta)	Welsh Newspapers Online Beta is a free online resource from the National Library of Wales which currently lets you search and access over 250,000 pages from 24 newspaper publications from years 1844 to 1910. It will grow to over 1 million pages as more publications are added during 2013. This site is freely available on the Internet.
