The electronic databases available in the British Library's London Reading Rooms cover business and intellectual property, the humanities (including rare books and music), manuscripts, maps, science, social science and official publications, newspapers and our Asia, Pacific & Africa Collections.

Owing to licensing restrictions, these resources can only be accessed from British Library workstations within our Reading Rooms and Business & IP Centre.

Except where indicated, titles are available in all the Library's London Reading Rooms.

BBC Catalogue The BBC Catalogue offers access for users of the British Library Reading Rooms to a catalogue of BBC radio and television programmes, with playable programmes from mid-2007 onwards. It comprises data from the BBC's programme catalogue and BBC television and radio programmes recorded off-air. There are around 2.2 million catalogue records from the 1950s onwards, and over 200,000 playable television and radio programmes broadcast from July 2007. At present the service covers programmes to June 2012, but will be extended to more recent programmes soon.

BBC handbooks, annual reports and accounts, 1927-2001/2 All the handbooks, annual reports and accounts published by the British Broadcasting Corporation during the 20th century. Includes reviews of each year's public-service broadcasting, with detailed schedules, audience research, performance and objective tables.

BBC Listener Research Department, 1937-c.1950 Reports from the early years of the Research Department up to the launch of Britain's first national television channel. The reports cover reactions to specific programmes, and also broader surveys of attitudes to current events and social and cultural activity.

Biblioboard Biblioboard is a platform to facilitate navigation and curation of some of the vast amounts of historic digitised content available online by sorting it into thematic anthologies which can easily be browsed on this highly visual interface.  The British Library's digitisation of 68,000 19th century books is one of the datasets in this platform. Byzantinische Bibliographie Byzantinische Bibliographie cumulates the annual bibliographies published in the Byzantinische Zeitschrift from volume 98 (2005) onwards.
