Also searchable are the names of journalists, page numbers etc.|
|Cambrian Index Online||Swansea Central Library's newspaper indexing project contains 400,000 entries, mostly from The Cambrian, published in Swansea from 1804 to 1930. The index covers the major part of the 19th century. All the newspaper's reported birth, marriage and death entries are extracted and indexed, regardless of location. Other articles are indexed by topic e.g. Transport, Ships and Shipping, Disasters and Accidents etc.

|CD-ROM version of the Index providing access to over 12 million index entries, the equivalent of 297 volumes of the printed index covering 1906 - 1980. From 1973 onwards the Index also includes: The Sunday Times, Times Literary Supplement, Times Educational Supplement and Times Higher Education Supplement.|
|Palmer's Full Text||Contains Palmer's Index to The Times from October 1790 to December 1905 and also provides full text of articles for years 1800 to 1870 in the form of digitsed images of the actual newspaper columns.|

Probably the best known of the early periodical indexes. The index covers 479 US and British periodicals with entries mainly by subject.

The British Library does not have a subscription to the full text of Time.
