AccessToLaw	Links to UK and global legal resources selected and annotated by Inner Temple Library. Includes signposts to online directories of the legal profession, expert witnesses, and other reference sources. This site is freely available on the Internet.
BAILII	British and Irish legislation, court and tribunal decisions, and law reform papers, the UK Treaty Library, decisions of the ECHR, ECJ and Privy Council, and links to World Law Resources. The site also provides multiple advanced search options including a citator function enabling discovery of subsequent considerations of cases, cases citing particular legislative provisions, citation of journal articles and more. Service is maintained by the British and Irish Legal Information Institute and partners. This site is freely available on the Internet.
Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations	Find the meaning of abbreviations used for legal publications from around 300 jurisdictions. Focus is on English language law reports and journals, but other language titles, and selected major text books and legislative series are also included. This site is freely available on the Internet.
Criminal Justice Abstracts 1968 - present	Indexes journal articles, books and reports from 1968 on all aspects criminology and criminal justice, including crime prevention, juvenile delinquency, police, courts and punishment. This is a subscription based service and can only be accessed from the reading room.
Eagle-i	Eagle-i (Electronic Access to Global Legal Information) is a searchable and browse-able portal to high quality web resources for UK, European, Foreign, Comparative and International law. Covers 200 countries as well as non-governmental international bodies and organisations involved in international law. The service provides content assessments and well-maintained dynamic links. Building on records originally created for Intute: Law, this service is developed as a national research resource for the UK by the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies. This site is freely available on the Internet.
EUR-Lex	EUR-Lex is the key portal to legal materials of the EU updated daily. It includes, with extensive search facilities, the Official Journal, treaties, full text legislation and preparatory acts, full text decisions of the ECJ (Courts of Justice and of First Instance of the European Communities) and references to national case-law concerning EU law. This site is freely available on the Internet.
EuroLaw	Covers in full text all the Treaties of the EU; the Directives and Regulations; Proposed Legislation; Case Law; National Implementation Details; Parliamentary Questions and Information and Notices from the C series of the Official Journal. NB: This resource is password protected. Please ask staff at the Social Science s Reference Enquiry Desk for the password.
Globalex	Research and resource guides for foreign, comparative and international law. Guides outline legal system and sources of law for a wide range of jurisdictions. Maintained by New York University Law School. This site is freely available on the Internet.
HeinOnline	The British Library currently provides free reading room access to the following HeinOnline Law Libraries. Click on “Log in to HeinOnline” for: English Reports Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals Law Journal Library Selden Society publications and the Early History of English Law This is a subscription based service and can only be accessed from the reading room.
House of Commons Parliamentary Papers 1688-	Search and browse access to full text of white papers, bills (House of Commons printings), Lords and Commons Hansard from 1803 as well as earlier records of parliamentary proceedings, and selected sources of historical legislation. Also provides access UK treaties, crime, policing, judicial, and prison statistics, departmental and agency annual reports and accounts, scrutiny of justice policy, and law reform papers. Index to Legal Periodicals and Books Full Text (1981 – date (Wilson Web)	Index to Legal Periodicals Full Text is a bibliographic database that cites articles from legal periodicals and indexes law books published in the USA. Full text coverage for selected periodicals is also included. Periodical coverage includes law reviews, bar association journals, university publications, yearbooks, institutes, and government publications. Index to Legal Periodicals & Books covers all areas of jurisprudence, including recent court decisions, new legislation, and original scholarship. Informit	Informit indexes and provides access to the full text of articles relating to Australasian scholarly research in a number of fields. Lawlinks	Award winning site signposting freely available web resources, and providing hints for working with legal information resources. Maintained by the Law Library of the University of Kent at Canterbury. This site is freely available on the Internet.
Legislation.gov	UK, English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish legislation. Provides revised texts up to 2001, including a limited range of point in time snapshots and historical revisions. From 2002 texts of legislation are provided as enacted or made, and amendments are listed. Texts of Public General Acts as enacted are also provided for partly extant historical legislation in some instances. This site is freely available on the Internet.
Westlaw China	Full text legal database in English and Chinese for the People's Republic of China. Includes laws, administrative, ministerial, local and military regulations, judicial interpretations, selected articles and other commentary and legal materials. This is a subscription based service and can only be accessed from the reading room.
Westlaw UK	Includes EU & UK legislation, law reports & case digests, citators & analysis (commencement, amendment, subsequent treatment, history etc), Legal Journals Index, Financial Journals Index Archive ;(-Mar. 2006), selected full text law journals, news & current awareness, Woodfall's Law of Landlord and Tenant, and Palmer's Company Law. World Legal Information Institute (WORLDLII)	Database, catalogue and web search service offering legislation, case law, law reform reports, treaties and other resources from more than twenty countries. The service describes itself as free, independent, and non-profit. It is developed collaboratively by Legal Information Institutes and supported by the Free Access to Law Movement. This site is freely available on the Internet.
